223 Rem – 35 Grain NTX – Hornady Superformance – 20 Rounds

This 223 Rem ammo by Hornady has one application, pure and simple: varmint hunting. Its NTX bullet is flat-shooting, devastating to small game, and completely lead-free so you don’t have to worry about poisoning all the scavengers who will so graciously clean up after you!
This round’s 4,000 fps muzzle velocity out of a 24” test barrel is fast. That’s because the NTX weighs a mere 35 ounces, and also because Hornady’s Superformance series cartridges are engineered to boost muzzle velocity by 100 to 200 fps without added recoil, chamber pressure, fouling or temperature sensitivity. Prepare to witness laserlike trajectories when you fire this ammo – perfect for small and nervous critters.
The NTX features a thin and concentric Advanced Manufacturing Process jacket to promote great rotational stability, and its polymer tip creates the sharp and clean meplat the bullet needs to fly straight toward its target. The NTX’s core is made of frangible copper alloy; when the tip drives inward, it forces the core to disintegrate and burst outward. You don’t have to be a biologist to appreciate what explosive terminal performance does to a small animal.
This premium Nebraska-made 223 varmint hunting ammo is loaded with reloadable brass cases and high-quality Boxer primers. You’ll want a 1:14” or 1:16” barrel twist if you want to see this ammo’s best accuray.

308 – 180 Grain Fusion – Federal Fusion – 20 Rounds

In 2005, Federal introduced the Fusion line of ammunition designed specifically for whitetail deer hunters. This new bullet technology provides exceptional terminal performance designed to make quick, clean, one-shot kills!
Fusion bullets undergo an electro-chemical process which joins the core to the copper jacket eliminating core-jacket separation. The result of this process is increased weight retention upon and through impact helping the bullet to deliver a high impact lethal shock as it expands through the target.
The process of manufacturing Fusion bullets starts at the core. First, a lead core is pressure-formed to provide great expansion and strength. Second, the copper jacket is deposited onto the core one molecule at a time to ensure total integrity. Third, the top and base of the projectile are pressure-formed to specifications optimizing terminal performance on deer. Lastly, a “top secret” skived tip is designed to deliver the unmatched combination of long-range expansion potential and short-range toughness.
Fusion ammunition is manufactured in Anoka, Minnesota. This ammunition is new production, brass-cased, boxer-primed, and reloadable.
